Our model
Community centered
Dimewise utilizes a community-based, holistic approach to support first-time entrepreneurs in eliminating extreme poverty.
By providing participants with comprehensive resources, knowledge, and leadership skills, we empower them to establish sustainable businesses and savings groups.
This initiative enables individuals to become self-reliant, meet their own needs, and create brighter futures for themselves and their households.

Our approach
Enrolment
Individuals who meet the program’s criteria are enrolled, ensuring that those in extreme poverty are given the opportunity to participate.
Assessment
A thorough assessment is conducted to identify the specific needs, aspirations, and skills of each participant. This assessment helps tailor the programme interventions to address individual requirements.
Training
Participants receive comprehensive training in various skills necessary for entrepreneurship. These training sessions equip them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to establish and manage sustainable businesses.
Saving Groups
Saving groups are formed among the participants, encouraging regular savings contributions. These groups foster financial discipline, resilience, and a sense of community support.
Seed Capital
Once the saving groups are established and participants have accumulated sufficient savings, seed capital is provided. This initial investment helps participants overcome financial barriers and kick-start their businesses.
Mentoring
Equipped with mobile training and mentoring tools, our business mentors provide invaluable coaching and mentoring throughout the programme, ensuring that all participants have the skills and knowledge to run a business, save for the future, resolve group conflicts, develop confidence and agency, and successfully graduate out of extreme poverty.
Review Meetings
Regular meetings are arranged to examine the participants’ progress and problems. These gatherings promote open dialogue, feedback, and support.
Process Tracking
Ongoing monitoring and progress tracking mechanisms are implemented to evaluate the success and impact of the programme. This allows for timely feedback, adjustments, and support to ensure continuous growth and success
