Currently, he holds a position Head of Credit at Dimkes SACCO and he has a wealth of practical experience, having held various key positions at Dimkes SACCO (top tier 2 Sacco), a renowned organization focusing on financial inclusion and poverty eradication.
Dominic is an alumnus of the prestigious Catholic University of East Africa where he obtained his Bachelors of law degree cementing a strong foundation in legal expertise. Additionally, he holds a professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is a well-rounded professional who can navigate the financial sector with ease. Dominic’s unique blend of academic excellence, professional qualifications, and practical experience makes him shine as a versatile professional with an outstanding career journey.
Alice Nyokabi, is a graduate with Masters of Management (Governance) from the IHS- Erasmus University in Netherlands, a certificate in Leadership and Management from Administrative College of India (ASCI). She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
She has close to seventeen (17) years hands on experience in implementation of programs geared towards realizing social transformation and sustainable development for citizens. She is apolitical and non- partisan. She is a seasoned and conscientious Social Scientist. Additionally, she is highly proficient in promoting societal transformation, adept with all matters that revolve around Development. Most notably, she possesses a range of transferrable relevant skills set in Governance, Devolution, Community Development, Public Participation, Gender, Women’s Rights and Social Accountability. She has facilitated numerous trainings in the organizations she has worked. Specifically, on Voter education, Leadership and Integrity and Women Political Leadership.
She is skillful in Program design and management, fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, community-based approaches, gender-based interventions, strategic planning, project reporting, grants management, networking and partnership, advocacy and research. She has experience in training and engaging with diverse segments of society. She has worked in over 13 counties in the country both in a rural and urban setting.
Peninah is a scholar-practitioner serving as an adjunct lecturer at Strathmore University Business School (SBS) and Strathmore Institute (SI), where she imparts her expertise in Social Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and the Principles of Management. Her influence extends far beyond national borders, as she also plays a pivotal role on the postgraduate diploma panel at Henley University in South Africa.
She is a versatile facilitator, a dedicated business coach, and a trusted consultant. As a facilitator, she collaborates with various organizations, aiding in the design and delivery of training content tailored to entrepreneurs. In her role as a coach, she guides and supports entrepreneurs on their development journey. As a consultant, she partners with early-stage entrepreneurs, helping them create dynamic and strategic plans for success.
She has worked as a recovering banker with over 12 years of experience in banking and finance, having worked with prestigious institutions such as Bank of America and General Electric Capital Solutions. Her academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University (Texas) and a BBA in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas. Moreover, she holds the esteemed title of a Certified STEP Trainer by Leupena University.
Duncan is a distinguished scholar, consultant and leader in the world of finance, strategy and education. He holds an outstanding array of academic achievements, a wealth of professional experience, and unwavering commitment to community and volunteer work.
Duncan is a scholar of exceptional merit. He acquired a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Nairobi, setting the foundation for his financial acumen. Building on this, he pursued a Master’s in Business Administration (Strategic) at Kenya Methodist University, and later, a PHD in Administration with a focus on Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & TechnologyAdditionally, he holds a professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and certified public secretary (CPS).He is also a member of ICPAK and ICPSK
Duncan has worked with organizations such as Match Electricals Limited, Kenya Red Cross Society, and Missions for Essential Drugs and Supplies. He has lent his expertise to various organizations, serving as a consultant on a multitude of strategic projects. His wide-ranging experience includes crafting and revising strategic plans for diverse entities, such as schools, parishes, and businesses.
Throughout his career, Duncan has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, combining his academic knowledge with practical experience to make a tangible impact in the fields of finance and strategy. His dedication to education as a lecturer at the University of Embu ensures that the next generation of leaders is groomed with the same passion and dedication he exemplifies.
James, a distinguished professional with over a decade of experience dedicated to transforming lives, promoting economic growth, and eradicating poverty through financial education and the development of cutting-edge financial products and services.
He has worked as the Executive Director for Dimewise since its inception and he has been spearheading the institution that has become synonymous with empowering Kenyans and underprivileged communities through long-term financial solutions.

He’s determined to connect the unbanked to the global economy, creating a brighter future where financial inclusion is the norm. His journey has been nothing short of remarkable, and he continues to inspire us with his unshakable commitment to change the lives of the underserved.
Prior to joining Dimewise, James worked as the C.E.O at Jiweze Improved Productivity Limited. He has previously worked with Equity bank and the Kenya Red Cross, He serves in several boards such as WOF Community College and Boon limited. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Moi University.
He is currently pursuing his master’s in business administration. He is a CPA (K) holder and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
